Clubhouse Break-in
Appeal for information following early morning raid on the clubhouse.
Unfortunately, our Club has been broken into again.
At 3:35am this morning (Wednesday 5 August), we received a call from our alarm company to say that the club had been broken into.
The offenders smashed a rear window and one of the kitchen windows. They also took and damaged the kitchen till, as well as taking a till drawer from behind the bar.
We would like to thank Lancashire Police, who arrived at the club within just 4 minutes of the alarm being activated. Their rapid response was greatly appreciated.
Our Chairman, Dan Ferguson, would like to remind everyone, we never keep any money on site at any time. We are a, volunteer-run football club, and these incidents cause unnecessary damage, expense and disruption to a club that exists for the benefit of our local community.
If anyone has any information or saw anything suspicious in the area during the early hours of 5 August , please contact Lancashire Police on 101 – quoting log 0121 of August 5th.
