Former FC United of Manchester captain joins Brig.
The club have this evening announced the signing of experienced midfielder Charlie Ennis.
Well known in non-league, the 36 year old joins the club following his departure from fellow NPL Premier Division side FC United of Manchester, where he has spent the last seven years.
The former FC captain made 273 appearances over a 7 year period for the Broadhurst Park side, netting 55 goals.
Charlie started his career in the Stockport County youth team and prior to joining FC United, had spells across a number of non-league clubs including Stalybridge Celtic, Northwich Victoria, Colwyn Bay, Guiseley, Hednesford Town and Curzon Ashton.
